About the Role

We are looking for a Principal Sales Engineer Manager with a minimum of 6 years’ experience to help our technical sales efforts in Northern America. You will drive business value for prospects by showing them how Qlorem´s products and services can assist in achieving strategic business goals. The ideal candidate for this position will have a demonstrated history of success in selling enterprise tech solutions to the commercial market, preferably in the following areas: Project Portfolio Management, Enterprise Architecture, Business Intelligence, Data Warehousing, Artificial Intelligence or Data Analytics. The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of how our technology can solve business issues, possess a consultative sales approach, and value the importance of teamwork, while having the ability to work independently in a rapidly growing and changing environment.

What you´ll do:  

  • Understand customer's transformation analytics goals and challenges through successful discovery  

  • Confidently present and articulate the business value of the Qlorem platform to all levels  

  • Demonstrate the Qlorem product in a way that clearly differentiates us from the competition  

  • Define and conduct product evaluations with customers by working with them to analyze their own data  

  • Work as a team player by continually learning and sharing new knowledge   

  • Manage multiple customer engagements simultaneously  

  • Capture and communicate customer requirements to share with Qlorem product management teams  

  • Be self-motivated, flexible and take initiative  

  • Be a partner with sales in assisting with planning account strategy  

  • Develop a trusted advisor relationship with Customer champions and Qlorem Account Executives such that all activities are aligned with achieving customer and Qlorem success 


What you bring:  

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education, training, and work experience.  

  • Minimum of 6 years as a business development, sales manager, customer success manager or sales engineer within a SaaS company.  

  • Exceptionally high “Emotional Intelligence” – able to connect with diverse constituents, actively listen and identify key areas of sensitivity.  

  • Excellent customer-facing verbal and written communication and organization skills.  

  • A solid understanding of and appreciation for the sales cycle and demonstrated success as part of a sales team in a customer facing role  

  • Prior experience with Project Portfolio Management, BPM, Enterprise Architecture, or Business Intelligence is strongly preferred.  

  • Working knowledge of JavaScript, SQL, Python, or other web technology preferred.  

  • Hands-on experience of enterprise data architecture and/or cloud-native deployments, and privacy/security technologies (direct prior experience in any of these a plus).  

  • Ability to grasp customer needs and suggest timely solutions  

  • Superior presentation and demonstration skills for both technical and business audiences  

  • Broad understanding of enterprise data architecture and/or cloud-native deployments, and privacy/security technologies (direct prior experience in any of these a plus).  

  • Broad understanding and ability to articulate the benefits of Enterprise Tech Solutions  

  • The ability to work independently in an environment that changes rapidly  

  • Ambitious and self-motivated with a high degree of sales and technical curiosity  

  • Highly coachable with a strong desire to improve and grow  

  • Strong initiative and positive attitude  

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills  

  • Able to travel as needed
